I currently have a small pit in my stomach. Not from all the homework I have due tomorrow... Haha that was a joke. The amount of homework I have done this year is extremely limited and by limited I mean I have done zero. Zip. Nada. Rein.
Something much more menacing. Another week until Harry Potter comes out. FML. Currently Facebook, yes I confess I am addicted, is covered in all those smug New Zealanders so proud of themselves for seeing the 12:02 showing. I, the Harry Potter obsessed freak and not afraid to show it, sit here nearing tears.
You may be thinking "it is only a week, chill for a second..." but a week is a long time. So long in fact that I could run (if I was the world record holder and never had to sleep, eat or go to the bathroom...) approximately 75 marathons end on end. Then again I could just be watching it over and over again.
Well let us look on the bright side of life. At least I can watch it in English. I won't have to suffer with those awful french voices and change of names. Poudlard for goodness sake! Who in heaven's name would change a quality name like Hogwarts to something like Poudlard?! I often question the French.
Anyway, I am off to mourn and shall leave you with this,
French Toast

Must swear off from swearing. Bad habit.
So, I'm a swearer. You know, one of those people who feel they need to swear to get the point across. Usually there will be either a s*** or f**k in a sentence. Okay, no, I'm not THAT bad, but you get my point. I swear. Now this is a habit I am determined to break.
4. Don't swear for a month
I've been trying this one for the past week or so lasting about a day before I crack... Personally, I would call all these outbreaks
completely worthy of a curse or two; waking up half an hour late, the loss of Lucy's 4 day old ipod (Podman, may he rest in peace), and nearly getting run over by a car but, during these tough times I need to remember to whip out the "shiver me timbers" and "holy moley" and other such appropriate phrases.

I feel a change in the winds, a moving in the tides, the stars are in my favour or what ever you would like to call it and I have reached the 3 day mark without a swear word in site. Snaps for Casey.

Life is one grand, sweet song, so start the music
Time flies when your having fun… and well, better late then ever is what I like to say. So that is why, after already being in France for over ten months and leaving in less then one, I have finally decided to start a blog. How far will it get? Well let us just say, probably not very far but what the hey, why not? With only 25 days until the rents arrive, I have finally realised this is it, the ‘‘best year of my life’’ is nearly over.
